We matched on a dating app in March 2025, fully expecting great conversation and minimal emotional damage. Texting quickly turned into calls, and after a month of nonstop talking, we decided it was time to see if the other was real. On April 25, 2025, I flew to California—proof this was more than just good Wi-Fi. We started dating immediately and never looked back. By October 2025, I proposed, because waiting longer felt unnecessary and risky. Families met, survived, and approved. After confirming we still liked each other, we picked a wedding date and decided forever sounded like a great idea.
